Office Ally Launches “Real-Time” Clinical Messaging Tool Designed to Improve Patient Outcomes and Reduce Healthcare Costs

It’s getting closer to that time of the year again when many in healthcare and health technologies all make our annual trip to the HIMSS convention.  The show runs from February 29-24th at the Orange County Convention Center.   This year if you are not already well aware, the place is Orlando, Florida and based on what’s happening elsewhere with weather I can say I’m glad this is not the year for McCormick Place in Chicago.image

Office Ally Achieves ONC-ATCB Certification To Support Meaningful Use for Providers

Office Ally is now certified for our 24/7 electronic medical records system. 24/7 and users will be able to demonstrate meaningful use.  Office Ally 24/7 EHR Version 3.6.0 was certified by CCHIT.

A few weeks ago we announced our new medical billing services availability.  Its easy to get started and one item to think about is if you are already using a billing service you could switch and get our 24/7 EHR to include e-prescribing for free.  We understand that many offices may have some longtime associations with services that have been used for years; however now might be the time to take a look and see what consolidation may have to offer.

A few months ago we gave our website a new look to create a portal to access our services, which makes it easier for our clients to access and sign in.  One big feature is the availability to check for eligibility for patients.  This is a normal and every day procedure today with insurance plans changing, open enrollment and patients changing from one plan to another.  It’s a busy world today with a lot choices.

If you are presently billing in house, this could be both a time and money saver for you.  As a participant enrolled in the service, our 24/7 EHR is included.  You can also still subscribe at $29.95 a month and use the EHR as a stand alone web product.

We value all of our customers with Office Ally and we have grown over the years with more services and software offerings.   We strive to ensure that we fulfill all HIPAA compliant areas.  If you have read in the news lately, there have been some changes and additions made to the electronic side of the rules and requirements.

 

We made a change last week and some were caught off guard that stored user names and passwords were no longer available in the browser and this is due to patient privacy issues and was changed to be compliant in all areas of HIPAA, thus we were not making changes for the sake of changing or trying to make anything more difficult.

Office Ally 24/7 EHR E-Prescribing Solutions at $30.99 a Month

One nice benefit we offer via our e-prescribing program are patient hand-outs in 18 languages and the comprehensive doctor’s drug reference from Lexi-Comp, which can prove useful when needing to look up certain properties and give the patient additional medication information.  We live in the world of the information today and the hand outs will help patients fully understand more about the medication you have just prescribed and understand any potential interactions or side effects they may need to be aware of. 

E-prescribing is ideal for IPAs / Medical Organizations.  Drug interactions are provided for ease of use to enable providers to be able to check for allergies, interactions, etc.  Today this is an important part of any e-prescribing program and helps decrease errors.
