Office Ally 24/7 EHR Makes It Easy To Reference and Copy Old Encounter Notes

February 10, 2010 2 comments

One of the most critical areas of an EHR is the encounter notes.  With our 24/7 encounter notes we have made access and data entry simple.  Doctors in the same network with others doctors can also access patient records.  A simple example of the process might involve a primary physician needing to transfer information to a specialist that the patient will be seeing on referral.  Both physicians have the opportunity to review records and thus many additional lab tests and imaging costs can be reduced if a record is already included in the chart.

Are you a physician currently working with the SOAP note format?  If so, the 24/7 EHR will be very familiar to you.  The 24/7 EHR is modular in the fact that information can also be shared with the patient PHR, Patient Ally.  The 24/7 EHR is web based, which means you have access to read and enter chart data no matter where you are.  The same holds true for Patient Ally, the PHR, a patient can access and enter information from any computer with internet access.

In addition, Office Ally is a long standing free clearinghouse to scrub claims for the insurance payers.  Information from claims and other data they have on file can also populate the chart.  This may prove to save time with having to trace and find out if current or other claim information has a an updated status.

You can sign up for free for our EHR Lite which is a limited version of our 24/7 web based program.  We work with many IPAs and the use of 24/7 EHR Lite and Patient Ally also provides an avenue for “e-visits” will full documentation, as some insurance payers are now starting to reimburse physicians for their time.
